ABOUT THE Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra

 

The Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra is the premier non-professional orchestra in Nottingham and is regarded as one of the leading amateur orchestras in the UK.
We perform a wide range of classical and contemporary repertoire in a series of four to five concerts each season in Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall, Albert Hall and Southwell Minster under our Music Director, Mark Heron.

NEXT CONCERT

 
It's Family Prom time!  This year our theme is Fire and Ice! and we will be joined by Aled Jones from ClassicFM who will present the concert.

The programme includes Fawkes the Phoenix  (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets), Conga del Fuego, Infernal Dance from The Firebird, Chariots of Fire, The Polar Express, Let it Go (Frozen), The Skater's Waltz & music from The Snowman!
